Snappa & Savage (UK) Snappa and Savage a UK based Hip Hop group coming out of Huddersfield started rapping several years ago influenced by the legendary greats such as LL.Cool J. Eric B Rakim, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane. Both Snappa and Savage have been over the ocean Savage has recorded joints in New York and Snappa recorded joints in LA. The duo have featured on the Radio 1 unsigned website and had some stateside label interest, one of the highlights within the numerous places they have performed was playing at the In The City gig in Manchester (UK) where they jus ripped the roof off. They started making real noise in their own town and this soon spread to surrounding areas. They have featured on the Sounds from a Big Town, a CD showcasing unsigned talent and the duo just happened to have the stand out song on the CD. Both MC’s pack an unbeatable punch and are very articulate and descriptive with their speech. Snappa describes their style of rap as been authentic and gritty. They have both listed they’re lyrical content as been their main strength and believe this gives them the edge over their competitors.
