			"the kid has a style all to his own, keep a look out" -Maker Pain: Born in the midwest, Pain [of Thought] grew up listening to all genres of music from new wave to merengue. He remembers when radio was more or less commercial free, when mtv actually played music videos and when hammer pants were popular. Pain began to experiment with electronic and hip-hop beats throughout his highschool years. He also dabled in several several of the so-called "elements of hip-hop". When a fellow graffiti writer introduced him to Vyle and TFD crew, Pain began to grow more serious about production. He also worked hard along side rapper Crimestarr to form strong local connections. Once he became influenced by downtempo and ambient, there was no turning back. Pain is currently working on several albums including the Crimestarr LP and the Extortion Compilation as well as contributing to the projects of Vyle, Orel, Pugslee Atoms, and V8 to name a few. He is also working hard on a downtempo project featuring vocalist "Kay" and production partner Memory.
