Joan is fasinated by the symbol of the heart. when i met w/ her she pulled out a book called Signs & symbols in Christian Art and when straight to what the symbol of the heart and i quote: the heart was considered to be the sorce of understanding, love, courage, devotion, sorrow, pain, and joy. She then said that HIM was her favorite band. hmm. i wonder why. trained musically as a jazz singer she wants to incorporated jazz and rock and roll with a cutting edge of melancholy. when asked if she liked her own music her response was quite strong "not yet i'm still waiting for my voice to develop. untill then my voice gets me fustrated."
